About the Project
For the launch of Le Neuf Champagne at the Davos Economic Forum, artist and curator Roksana Ciurysek-Gedir invited Mamou-Mani Architects to design a sculptural vessel that would reflect the symbolic richness and elegance of her new champagne brand. Rooted in the meaning of the number nine, a symbol of renewal, completion, and cosmic harmony. The project became a convergence of vision, digital craft, and sustainable innovation.
Champagne is more than a drink, it is a ritual, a story, a celebration of life’s rarest moments. The Champagne Vessel was conceived as an extension of this philosophy. Rather than enclosing the bottle, the vessel frames it, its fluid, an open form inspired by stardust, movement, and light.
Working in close dialogue with Roksana, our team explored a series of digital studies using AI-assisted generative design and parametric modelling. Each iteration tested the balance between structure and transparency, strength and softness until a form emerged that felt both protective and revealing, a sculptural skin that honours the champagne it holds.
The final design was fabricated at our sister company Fab.Pub, using 3D printing and PLA, a bioplastic made from fermented sugar. Selected for its renewability and precision, this material allowed us to capture the vessel’s delicate geometry while keeping its environmental impact low. Integrated lighting within a custom pedestal enhanced its presence, transforming it into a centrepiece that celebrates both form and meaning.
This project reflects Mamou-Mani’s ethos: creating architecture and objects at all scales that are driven by collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to circular design. Working with Roksana on this vessel was a joyful exchange of ideas and a meeting of minds across disciplines to shape something as thoughtful as it is beautiful.

The Concept
The Le Neuf Champagne Vessel began as an exploration into the unseen forces that shape both matter and emotion. Using AI-generated algorithms, the design evolved organically, like a cloud of stardust coalescing into form. The result is a structure that captures the tension between presence and absence, enclosure, and openness.
Through 3D printing, this intangible vision became physical and a lattice that holds space as much as it holds the bottle, inviting a new kind of luxury object: one that is light, transparent, and deeply connected to the story it tells.
