Ariane is a designer and fabricator with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design & Technology. During her studies, she explored the principles of circular design that incorporate material science, sustainability, and technology. She developed a system of products and services to promote recycling and reinvestment of materials within local communities, using 3DP as an ethical prototyping method during her dissertation.This project propelled her into the realm of collaborative and interdisciplinary design, leading to her current position at Fab.Pub Ltd.
Ariane has a background in product and industrial design, bespoke structures, sculptural pieces, and electronic assembly, with a focus on minimising environmental impact throughout the design-to-manufacture process. She draws her diverse technical skill-set and experience from multiple creative industries.
She enjoys research which explores new ways of working with materials,whilst proposing initiatives that contribute to a more circular manufacturing method particularly in the materials/technology sector, including sculpture, electronics, lighting, and machine learning.
