About the Project
The Wooden Waves installation in the presidential lounge of Orange Bridge headquarters introduces a warm, subtle design that softly illuminates the TV wall and surrounding shelves. Developed alongside the boardroom installation, this project creates a cohesive design across multiple spaces, enhancing both visual appeal and acoustic performance. The design integrates seamlessly with the surroundings, ensuring the space feels unified.
Crafted with precision and care, the Wooden Waves were custom-made to fit the lounge’s specific spatial and functional needs. The intricate, laser-cut lattice structure enhances the visual appeal but also contributes to the space’s acoustics, subtly diffusing the light. The installation was fabricated using technology at our sister company Fab.Pub, where each piece was pre-assembled and rigorously tested to ensure durability and perfect integration into the space. Delivered as a flat-pack system, the installation offers a practical solution, making transport and on-site assembly smooth and efficient. This project exemplifies the perfect marriage of form, function, and storytelling, adding depth and character to the Orange Bridge H.Q.

The Concept
The Wooden Waves installation follows a design approach similar to our projects The Miami Waves, Wooden Waves at BuroHappold, and The Wavery – Fortnum & Mason’s new bar. Each wave was crafted from plywood and laser-cut with precise lattice hinges to create a smooth curvature. These curves were not only designed to blend harmoniously with the space but also to enhance its acoustic properties by diffusing both sound and light. The entire installation was pre-assembled, ensuring a seamless installation process. This project continues our exploration of parametric design and sustainable architecture, creating dynamic and functional elements within modern interior spaces.
