About the Project

Milor is a private members’ club designed for dogs and their humans, reimagining the relationship between architecture, wellbeing and companionship. Conceived as a “house, not a facility”, the project brings together hospitality, wellness and play within a calm, premium environment.

Located with a future focus on Miami’s Design District, the club is envisioned as a destination that feels both iconic and intimate. The spatial experience centres around a social heart, anchored by a lounge and café, where members and their dogs can relax, connect and participate in everyday rituals together.

Milor also introduces a forward-looking approach to canine health and longevity. Alongside social and wellness spaces, the club integrates advanced diagnostics and AI-supported reporting to create personalised longevity roadmaps for each dog, including tailored guidance on nutrition, activity and sleep. This positions Milor as both a destination and a continuous-care ecosystem that supports long-term well-being.

The programme integrates active play areas, training spaces, grooming and wellness suites, quiet resting zones, and hospitality elements, including a café and patisserie. Outdoor spaces, where available, extend the experience into landscaped environments designed for movement, interaction and rest.

More than a club, Milor is positioned as a new typology in which dogs are not accommodated but placed at the centre of design thinking.

The Concept

The Milor concept is structured as a layered environment in which architecture, landscape, and programme are integrated into a continuous experience for both dogs and their owners.

At its core, the project is organised around a central social courtyard, acting as the heart of the club. This space anchors the main lounge, café and social areas, creating a shared environment where dogs and humans coexist naturally rather than being separated into functional zones.

The ground floor is designed as an active landscape, combining play, training and social interaction. Fluid circulation paths and open spatial connections encourage movement and exploration while maintaining clear sightlines throughout the space. This creates a legible environment where dogs can navigate freely and confidently.

The upper level transitions into a quieter, more controlled environment, accommodating wellness, grooming and resting areas. This includes dedicated spaces for advanced health and longevity services, where diagnostics such as MRI and AI-supported reporting contribute to personalised care journeys. These insights enable tailored longevity roadmaps that support each dog’s nutrition, activity, and rest patterns. This vertical layering allows the project to balance energy and calmness while introducing a new dimension of care within the members’ experience.

Externally, the landscape extends the experience beyond the building, integrating gardens, water features and outdoor activity zones. These spaces provide additional freedom of movement and sensory engagement, reinforcing the idea of the club as a destination rather than a contained facility.

The architecture brings these elements together through a continuous spatial language of soft geometries, integrated zones and human-scale environments. The result is a cohesive ecosystem where circulation, programme and atmosphere are designed around behaviour, comfort and connection.
