Tom Simmons

Tom has a Master's degree from Westminster, where he achieved a distinction. Prior to that, he worked at Make Architects before moving on to Tonkin Liu Architects. Currently, he is working at Mamou-Mani on the Flying Whales project. Tom is passionate about about both digital and analogue forms of craft and the potential for digital tools to augment traditional methods of making. His Master's project explored the concept of gardening as a guiding framework for architectural fabrication, where the designer embraces a cycle of growth, decay, and re-use.
